Thirteen venues across New Zealand have been chosen to host pool matches for Rugby World Cup (RWC) 2011. Auckland (Eden Park), Wellington and Christchurch have been allocated five pool matches each while North Shore, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Rotorua and Dunedin will each host three matches. Whangarei, Nelson, Palmerston North, Napier and Invercargill will host two matches.

World Rowing Championships
October 31 - November 7, 2010
2010 will mark the second time the World Rowing Championships have come to Lake Karapiro and New Zealand in the event’s history. The first time was back in 1978 and that championship proved to be one of the more memorable in the sport’s history

Lake Karapiro is 35 kilometres southeast of Hamilton, close to the town of Cambridge and is, quite simply, one of the finest, fairest and most picturesque rowing venues in the world. Karapiro is also only 80 km from Rotorua and about an hours drive from Woodstock Farm.
